Taconic’s new range of conveyor belts for drying & steam cooking

Our Tac-Mesh range delivers high-performance mesh belt solutions engineered for demanding industrial environments. Manufactured from advanced monofilament materials including PES, PPS, and PEEK, these belts are designed with a variety of edging options and joint configurations to suit a wide spectrum of applications.

From the food industry—where they excel in processes like fruit and vegetable washing, pasta drying, steam cooking, and pasteurization—to textile production, non-woven materials, and recycling, Tac-Mesh belts provide reliability where it matters most.

Beyond transport applications, Tac-Mesh products also perform as forming belts in the production of thermal and acoustic insulation materials. Whether working with mineral, natural, or synthetic fibers, or supporting the manufacture of wood-based panels, they ensure consistent results and durability under pressure.

Every belt can be customized with a range of joint types and edge reinforcements to meet the highest operational and quality standards.

Monofilament Belts

Our monofilament belts—available in PET, PPS, and PEEK—offer exceptional resistance to hydrolysis and abrasion, maintaining performance in temperatures up to 250°C. Each belt can be tailored to your exact specifications, making them ideal for presses, vacuum systems, steam processes, washing lines, and high-speed operations.

Spiral Belts

Our endless spiral belts, produced from PET, PPS, and PEEK monofilaments, are built for efficiency and endurance. They are widely used in oven loading and unloading, drying, baking (including immersion baking), and high-speed conveying. FDA-certified and highly resistant to hydrolysis, these belts operate reliably at temperatures up to 250°C. Custom widths and lengths ensure seamless integration into your production line.

Chemical resistance

Resistance to chemicals is a key characteristic of Taconic’s PTFE coated glass fabrics. Harsh substances including acids and bases will attack and deteriorate most tapes, fabrics,and belts.

Heat resistance

High temperatures can breakdown most fabrics, tapes, and belts. Taconic’s heat resistant materials allow for fewer changeovers, higher line speeds, longer life, and an overall lower cost of production.
